The Saint Paul Blog

Saint Paul’s west side is fortunate to have some outstanding family owned restaurants, offering food that is simply head and shoulders above any chain restaurant anywhere.

The next time you want a special breakfast pastry, indulge in the very best!  Bread, Coffee, and Cake (BC2) serves a caramel pecan roll that is the most delicious one I have had in recent memory.  The bread base has wonderful flavor and texture, and the generous topping of caramel and pecans make this a delectable treat.  I’ve had other breakfast pastries there too, and have yet to be disappointed.  Everything is top quality and made before your eyes.  The squeaky clean kitchen is visible from the customer area so you can see the chef at work.

This fantastic, family owned bakery is located just south of the Wabasha caves, at 385 South Wabasha.  Stop by today --  and let us know which treat you try!
