Riverview Cherokee Neighborhood

The flavor of Riverview Cherokee is very strong and diverse! Cherokee Park overlooks the Mississippi River, and is a great place to gather with family, friends, and neighbors. It features pavilions with grills, public restrooms, and a play ground. This is a hot spot on the 4th of July, as it’s just a short walk to the High Bridge, where many people enjoy watching a direct view of the fireworks. On the opposite end of the neighborhood is District Del Sol. This is a great place to go to see a bit of Mexico right in our city! It features vibrant murals, authentic restaurants, and great little shops. People from all over gather here on Cinco De Mayo for a huge celebration with a parade, salsa competitions, live music, low rider car show, etc.
