Phalen Neighborhood

This neighborhood has been a huge part of St. Paul's history.  Ever since the early 1900's, the neighborhood has attracted immigrants moving to the city.  Because of this, the area has a fabulous flavor!  Payne Avenue hosts many unique shops and restaurants, and is a great place to go antiquing.  Lake Phalen is the highlight of the neighborhood because of the recreation that surrounds it.  It features a beach, volleyball nets, walking/biking trail, boat rentals, and so much green space!  The Phalen Golf Course borders Phalen Park.

There is housing in the Phalen area for every budget.  It's not impossible to find a home for under $100,000, however upper bracket homes can be found near the lake and along the new Phalen Corridor.  Phalen truly has something for everyone!
