The Saint Paul Blog

Last quarters statistics are up on each individual neighborhood page now!

Here are a few observations I've made:

  • 11 of the 13 St. Paul neighborhoods showed an increase in average sales price from 1st quarter to 4th quarter 2009.  This is fantastic news!  The two that showed a slight decrease are Merriam Park and Riverview Cherokee.  Both neighborhoods that showed a decrease in average sales price also had a decrease in average square footage.  It's all relative.
  • The neighborhoods with the largest gain in average sales price were Homecroft (Aprox. $50,000), Crocus Hill (Aprox. $100,000), Central (Aprox. $25,000), and Midway (Aprox. $50,000)
  • The least expensive house to sell in the 4th quarter was in the Phalen neighborhood for $8,910.  The most expensive was in Crocus for $2,100,000.
